EXPLORING THE BOUNDRIES OF SHAPE

Redifining eyewear through volumes

We conceive each spectacle as a sculpture, where every model defines its identity through the different surfaces, delicate details and smooth finishes. Volumes are defined through subtle architectural contrasts of depth across the surfaces that wrap the different parts of the frame.  Finding the right balance between the visual appeal of a piece and its comfort when worn is one of our main obsessions.

LIGHTING THE POWER OF COLOUR

Light and colour are two key elements in the development of our collections.  Our mood-enhancing colour palettes of acetate combinations create a new visual language when coming in contact with light. Through these two elements we are contantly exploring the boundries of creativity that define the vibrant DNA of our collections.

HAND MADE IN ITALY

Three pairs of vintage-style eyeglasses with square frames in light, orange, and dark tortoise patterns laid out on a white surface.
Rolling hills covered with vineyard grapevines under a partly cloudy sky, with some scattered houses and greenery in the distance.

At Folc eyewear we think locally and we produce our collections in a very special place in northern Italy, surrounded by vineyards and nature. We follow the traditional Italian manufacturing process, where a very important part of the process is still made and crafted by hand.

Italian made acetate & Carl Zeiss lenses

Folc eyewear produces all models with high-quality Italian acetate from the renowned Italian houses of Mazzucchelli and LAES. All our metal components are manufactured in the European Union. Our sunlenses are CR39 with AR on the internal side, produced by Carl Zeiss, in compliance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
